We live and serve in Ecuador (in South America) in a small, jungle town, called SucĂșa, in the province of Morona Santiago.
We have the privilege of being partnered with Extreme Response International. Extreme Response supports us Spiritually by praying for our ministry and checking in on us (via email or coming down to visit when possible). They also help us with work teams, and work as a sending agency for our donors. To learn more about ERI check out their website: extremeresponse.org.
We work with the non-profit organization that we opened in 2012, Fundacion Rescate Ecuador (Rescue Foundation). Our main objective is family restoration! We are currently working on opening a foster home to help rescue children from unhealthy, and unsafe environments. We want to help rebuild the family unit, so that the child can return to a restored family!
We are constantly thinking of the best ways to stay connected with friends, family and supporters back home. In the past, we have sent out mini-updates and monthly newsletters via email. We will continue with the mini-updates, but with the monthly newsletters it was getting harder to cram all the information about what we do with pictures in a document that was small enough to send. We will still do a monthly newsletter, but once a month we will send out an email that has the link to the blog so you can check it out, it will also be updated throughout the month with pictures and updates on other things that are going on.
